Bar Marilou

Bar Marilou is an upscale, French-inspired cocktail bar located in New Orleans. Marilou was designed by Studio Shamshiri and the menu concept was developed in partnership with Paris-based hospitality group Quixotic Projects.

My focus was to develop the Marilou brand and make the bar a highly sought-after destination through beautiful imagery, playful copywriting, and unique events.

This project concentrated on social media management, content creation, event programming, and press coordination. I was able to grow our following from 12k to 19k in 8 months.

Over 50 media placements were secured during that time. I also launched two weekly live music nights and several brand activations and special events.
