Artsper is a world leader in online contemporary art sales. Artsper.com is a platform that provides access to a large catalog of artworks from the best galleries around the world. The company mission is to make contemporary fine art more accessible through technology. As a French company expanding into the US, the focus of this project was developing a strategy that would resonate with young American collectors engaged with fine art online.
In order for the Artsper brand to be successful in the US market, it needed a communications and partnership plan that prioritized storytelling and building trust with a new audience. Artsper's overarching message is one of human connection. A connection that establishes trust and creates curiosity. A cultural connection. Connections that ultimately build art collections.
Artsper needed to connect with men and women, from the ages of 23 to 55. Millennials and Gen X-ers are the strategic demographic for Artsper in the US. Artsper's communication objectives were focused primarily on building trust with new consumers and connecting with them via their lifestyles.
Social media content appealed to their aspirational lifestyle and aesthetics, provided thoughtful context for the artwork and artists, and showed diversity and inclusion within the Artsper community and across its platforms. Video, interactive content and partnerships with aligned brands and influencers were the focus.
